Question 1

Is the Home Preservation Program a loan?

Accepted Answer

No. It is a sale with a written lease-back and a possible repurchase option. Ownership transfers to the buyer, and not every property qualifies. Have an independent Florida attorney review all agreements before signing.

Question 2

What if I cannot buy the home back?

Accepted Answer

Repurchase is optional, not guaranteed. The program may provide up to 17 months, but your written agreement controls the deadline and conditions. If the option expires, you may lose the right to buy back. Continued tenancy or a lease extension is not guaranteed.

Question 3

Does requesting a review cancel my auction?

Accepted Answer

No. A review, offer, or purchase agreement does not by itself cancel a scheduled sale. Keep meeting court deadlines and confirm any postponement or cancellation with your attorney, lender, or the court.

Question 4

Is the consultation really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Talking with us and reviewing your options costs nothing, and there's no obligation.

Question 5

How long does foreclosure take in Florida?

Accepted Answer

Because Florida requires a court process, foreclosure often takes many months and sometimes more than a year. Timing depends on the county, the lender, and whether the case is contested.

Question 6

Can I still sell my home if I've been served?

Accepted Answer

Generally yes. You can usually sell any time before the clerk's foreclosure sale, as long as the sale pays off the loan or your lender approves a short sale.

Question 7

Can you guarantee you'll stop my foreclosure?

Accepted Answer

No one can honestly guarantee that. What we can do is help you understand every option, move quickly, and choose the path that fits your goals.

Question 8

Are you a law firm or a lender?

Accepted Answer

No. Financial Rescue Now is a private company. We don't provide legal or financial advice, and we'll encourage you to speak with an attorney or HUD-approved counselor when that's what you need.

Question 9

Will I have to move out right away?

Accepted Answer

Usually not. In Florida you can generally stay in your home while the court case is pending. Moving out early can sometimes limit your options, so talk to someone first.

Question 10

What if I owe more than my home is worth?

Accepted Answer

You may still have options, including a loan modification, short sale, or deed in lieu. Ask about a written deficiency waiver in any agreement.

Question 11

Is my information kept private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your information is confidential, and we never share or sell mobile numbers or text-message opt-in data to third parties.

Question 12

Do you help outside Palm Beach County?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We help homeowners throughout Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and beyond.

Question 13

What should I do first?

Accepted Answer

Open every letter, note any deadlines, and reach out for a free review. The earlier you start, the more options you'll have.
